Kevin Smith may have trouble squeezing into an airplane seat, but he’s got no problem filling the director’s chair for his latest film, Cop Out. Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan starring as veteran NYPD officers in the film attempting to track down some stolen baseball cards. Unluckily, Kevin Smith was able to squeeze out more entertainment from his recent Southwest-bashing tweets than he was from this feature film.
After a swing of duds, RGV hits back this time with a sequel to the successful Sarkar. The movie is a good addition to Sarkar (a hotch-potch of God Father and Bal Thackeray) and carries forward the tale of the most powerful family in Mumbai.
DHOOM 2 is a glowing hit at the box office. The previous version of Dhoom was a faithful copy of Car. And, it clicked not because of Abhisheik or Uday, but John Abraham’s personality. This time, it’s Hrithik and he deserves all the clapping. Fast-paced, action-packed Dhoom 2 has set new Bollywood standards in the filming of action thrillers. Designed to keep the audience on the edge, the movie races to finish with Hritik doing impossible stunts.
